Biography

Once a Maines customer and Maines Territory Manager, Chef Jonathon Merrick brings his distinct experience, culinary perspective, and passion for the restaurant industry to the Maines team as Corporate Chef.

Chef Jonathon gained a substantial amount of experience working front and back of house in restaurants across the U.S. He worked in New York with renowned chef Waldy Malouf, in Colorado with global restaurateur Richard Sandoval, as well as Florida, Boston, Colorado, Nantucket Island, and San Francisco, learning from Michelin Star Chef Michael Mina. While working seasonally with respected mentors across the country added depth and value to his professional background, his six-month journey to Tuscany, Italy is what expanded his appetite for everything culinary.
